Learning pathway · six courses

The Claude pathway
from everyday use to your own integrations.

Start with the foundations, then hand Claude larger pieces of work, bring in information from approved services, package the methods your team repeats, and finally configure and build Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.

The stages

Five stages, in a sensible order.

Each stage builds on the one before. Where a stage offers two courses, pick the one that fits your work, or take both.

  1. Stage 1 of 5

    Foundations

Get comfortable with Claude: context, long documents, Projects and checking answers.

  2. Stage 2 of 5

    Practical workflows or design

Hand Claude multi-step work across files, or turn a brief into a visual prototype.

    Choose one, or both

  3. Stage 3 of 5

    Connectors or skills

Bring in information from approved services, or package methods your team repeats.

    Choose one, or both

  4. Stage 4 of 5

    MCP configuration

Configure, test and govern Model Context Protocol connections.

  5. Stage 5 of 5

    MCP development

Build and test your own small, safe MCP integration.

Each course is one day, live online. Register interest in any course and we’ll email you the next available dates and the price. You use your own Claude account in every course. Plans and features change: each course page lists the account and permission requirements, checked against Anthropic’s documentation on 5 October 2026.

Three examples, start to finish.

Each narrated walkthrough follows one exercise from the starting material to the finished work, including the point where a person checks and corrects it. Sound stays off until you turn it on, and each has captions and a transcript. Every course page has more examples you can inspect step by step.

Claude Cowork: Practical Workflows for Business

A project folder becomes three finished documents

Narrated walkthrough · 59 seconds · sound off until you choose

Read the transcript
  1. Starting material. In this illustrative example, a project folder holds two sets of meeting notes, a milestones sheet, an actions log and the steering notes.
  2. Instruction. The learner asks for a status report, an action register and a management brief, and asks Claude to show its plan before it starts.
  3. Work in progress. Claude reads the folder and proposes a plan. It assumes the launch is on the fourteenth of November, from the milestones sheet.
  4. Checkpoint. At the checkpoint, the learner corrects that assumption. The steering notes moved the launch to the twenty-eighth.
  5. Work in progress. Claude builds the action register, with an owner, a due date and a source for every action.
  6. Human review. Before anything is shared, the learner checks the dates and owners against the source files.
  7. Finished work. The result is a status report, an action register and a management brief. You can read the full example below.

Claude Design: From Brief to Visual Prototype

A brief becomes a refined landing-page prototype

Narrated walkthrough · 58 seconds · sound off until you choose

Read the transcript
  1. Starting material. This example starts with a one-page brief and brand references for a fictional bookkeeping business.
  2. Instruction. The learner asks for a landing-page prototype with one clear offer and one action.
  3. First concept. The first concept is crowded: a long headline, three competing buttons and low contrast.
  4. Feedback. Focused feedback asks for a shorter headline, a single gold button and stronger contrast.
  5. Refined layout. The refined layout leads with one message and one action.
  6. Mobile. On a phone, the sections stack in a clear order and the button spans the screen.
  7. Human review. The learner checks typography, contrast, alt text and the mobile layout.
  8. Finished work. This is a prototype, not a live website. Final copy, a working form, hosting and testing still come before launch.

Claude MCP: Connect and Configure

Configure, test, fix and document an MCP server

Narrated walkthrough · 46 seconds · sound off until you choose

Read the transcript
  1. Starting material. This example uses an approved demonstration server with two read-only tools over sample order data.
  2. Configuration. The server is added to the Claude desktop app configuration. The API key stays in the local environment, not in shared files.
  3. How it connects. The desktop app hosts the client, which talks to the server, which reads the sample data.
  4. Read-only test. The first read-only test fails with a four-oh-one: the API key is missing.
  5. Fix and retest. The key is set in the server’s local environment, and the same test now returns twelve sample orders.
  6. Finished work. Finally, the learner records the tools, the data, the limits, the owner and a review date.

Prepared demonstrations Fictional names, files and data. These are illustrations, not recordings of Claude or live AI output, and your own results will depend on your material. Background footage and narration voice were generated with Higgsfield, which is not part of the courses.
